The Sant Antoni Town Hall has presented the program of the Fira Marinera, which will celebrate its fourteenth edition from September 25 to 28 in the Passeig de la Mar and the Passeig de ses Fonts. The market will open its doors on Thursday 25 at 11 am. A musical parade will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed at 7 p.m. by the official opening with the participation of all the companies. The days will continue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.45 am, with activities throughout the day, as reported in a note the Consistory.
A consolidated appointment
“The Fira Marinera is a consolidated appointment in the cultural and festive calendar of Sant Antoni. It is a space that allows us to enjoy crafts, gastronomy and entertainment in a unique family atmosphere, while supporting trade and catering in the municipality, boosting our local economy,” said the Councillor for Tourism, Development of the Local Economy and Festivals, Miguel Tur.

Tur has encouraged both residents and visitors to participate in the event: “We hope you come these days to Sant Antoni to enjoy all the scheduled activities, designed for all ages, in a marine environment that is full of life for four days.”
Music, fire and fantastic characters
The representative of the organizing company Medieval Fusion, Martha Velandia, explained that the fair is designed to offer continuous fun: music, parades, fire shows, fantastic characters, children’s workshops and a wide gastronomic offer.
“Each edition we seek to surprise the public with different proposals and new animations, as well as with an attractive gastronomic offer,” said Velandia, who said that this year one of the most acclaimed shows will return: the dragon, this time in red.
Activities for the whole family
The Fira Marinera is characterized by its theatrical setting and its uninterrupted program, which combines entertainment, music and proposals for all ages. The little ones will have a children’s area with workshops, storytelling, attractions and music in an environment designed for the enjoyment of the whole family.
