The Ibiza Light Festival , one of the most outstanding events on the island in autumn, transforms the monumental setting of Dalt Vila into a luminous canvas for yet another edition. On this occasion, the festival will be held on the weekend of November 8 and 9.
Under the title ‘Inspiration’will be a special edition, since its celebration is part of the cultural agenda of the commemorative events of the 25th anniversary this 2024 of the declaration of Ibiza as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
“The festival, which reaches its eighth editionis distinguished by its innovative approach, being pioneer in Spain in the category of light festivals“, highlights in a statement the organization of the event.
It is a mix of light installations, multimedia projections, music and interactive art, which attracts both locals and visitors by offering a multi-sensory experience in a unique historic setting.
The bastion of Santa Llúcia will be the main stage of the Ibiza Light Festival this year. “Installations, sculptures and projections will compose a surprising itinerary in an eclectic, immersive and interactive artistic and technological proposal aimed at all audiences, inciting to discover or rediscover a monumental architectural environment that in autumn opens as a space for creativity and expression for visual artists of the island,” say the organizers.
