The Cultural Center of Jesus will host on the 29th the theatrical show ‘Vai via’

The Catalan company Xirriquiteula will present its latest show in Jesus as part of the Christmas holiday program, ‘Vai via’. Through a single character, Rita, played by veteran actress and director Iolanda Llansó, the show seeks to make visible and humanize the lives of people living on the street. Rita is a homeless woman who lives with only a handful of memories of an intense life, full of good and bad moments. Her biography is explained with great tenderness in a gestural way, with evocative photographs, narrated by a voice-over and accompanied by an original soundtrack. The main idea of the show is that behind any human being, even the most invisible ones, can hide a life full of experiences, richness and humanity.

The play, which will be performed on Sunday, December 29 at 6 p.m. at the Centro Cultural de Jesús, is an international co-production of Xirriquiteula, which has been creating shows for families since 1985, with the prestigious Danish family theater company ZeBU and the Grec Festival in Barcelona. In addition, this company is well known by Ibizan spectators for having participated on numerous occasions in the Barruguet Festival.

Tickets can be purchased for 8 euros plus booking fee at the municipal website and will also be available at the box office during the hour prior to the performance.
