Leader of criminal organisation arrested in Ibiza with 600 kilos of cocaine

Operation Tulp, targeting drug trafficking and led by the Guardia Civil in collaboration with the Dutch police, has resulted in the dismantling of an international criminal organisation that was in possession of 600 kilos of cocaine, as well as several vehicles, luxury watches and large sums of cash. The operational phase of the investigation took place on 2 December.

During the investigation, several drug seizures were carried out in different European countries, including Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands, all linked to the organisation.

The Dutch Politie launched the investigation after analysing Sky ECC chats used by the suspects in a previous operation. For more than two years, Dutch police have conducted a joint police and judicial investigation into several members of an international criminal group belonging to the same family, involved in drug trafficking and money laundering across various European countries.
