Carnival in Ibiza: date, timetable and route of the Santa Eulària Carnival parade

Santa Eulària Town Council has begun the countdown to Carnival 2026, whose parade will take place on Tuesday, 17 February, and will distribute more than €8,000 in prize money. Registration to take part in the parade opens this Tuesday. As in previous years, there will be four categories and several special prizes, according to a statement issued by the council.

Individuals and groups wishing to participate may register between 28 January and 13 February, either through the municipal electronic platform or in person at the Town Council’s general registry. The council hopes to exceed last year’s figures, when the parade attracted more than 1,000 participants and around twenty groups.

The parade will begin on 17 February at 17.00, although participants are required to gather at 16.00 in the area of the Hotel Aguas de Ibiza, the usual meeting point. There, requirements will be checked and the running order of the parade will be established.

This year’s Santa Eulària Carnival will feature four categories: school groups; adult groups (with more than five participants); individuals or children’s groups (up to five participants, with a majority under the age of 15); and individuals or adult groups (up to five participants, with a majority over the age of 15).

In the school and adult group categories, prizes will be €1,200 for first place, €800 for second place and €600 for third place. In the individual and small group categories, both children and adults, prizes will range from €50 to €150.

In addition, five special prizes will be awarded, which are compatible with the main awards: prizes for sustainability, best choreography, originality and the most musical float, each worth €300, as well as a special prize for the best float, endowed with €850. There will also be a special prize for the promotion of local history and heritage, worth €300.
