A car overturned this morning at one of the roundabouts on the airport motorway. Apparently, the driver, who was the only occupant of the car, suffered a severe blow to the head.
The accident took place at 10.30 am. All indications are that the car the woman was driving hit the curb and overturned, causing it to impede the exit of other vehicles onto the airport highway. An ambulance of the emergency service has transferred the woman.
Road maintenance technicians have cut the lane while two roadside assistance teams from Grúas Ibiza recovered the car with a boom crane. The Guardia Civil has regulated the traffic.
