A public service bus that covers line 8, between Ibiza and Sant Josepand which was practically full of passengers, has crashed this Tuesday morning, around 9:00 a.m, against the counterweight of a crane which is carrying out work on Avenida de la Paz. The accident occurred at the height of the Cetis building, next to the traffic circle and the flyover that connects the city with the Can Misses area.

The bus has suffered important damage to its front left sideon the driver’s side, but apparently no personal injuries were reported. The Consell explains that the bus has already been replaced by another one, which “has continued the route normally”.
The attestation team of the Local Police of Ibiza has taken charge of the investigation to clarify the causes of this traffic accident. Two road rescue workers from the company Grúas Ibiza have been in charge of removing the vehicle and resuming traffic on this artery, one of the busiest in the city of Ibiza.
