Catalan billionaire José Elías detailed his four-day holiday in Formentera on his YouTube channel Búscate la vida, revealing he and collaborator Eric Ponce spent €4,600 on restaurants, three nights’ lodging, a yacht and jet skis, excluding flights as they used his private aircraft. Ponce, who tracked expenses, noted €800 went on accommodation and €1,000 on a single meal at Beso Beach Ibiza, while Elías admitted they “ate too much” but considered the daily spend of around €575 per person modest. Elías praised Formentera’s beaches and restaurants, saying he visits every one or two years, preferring June or September, and mused about eventually buying an old house there to retire.
