Here are the best plans for the weekend in Ibiza and Formentera

Santa Eulària, Ibiza celebrates its patron saint's festivities with loads of humour and the traditional Fira des Puig de Missa

Laughter is always healthy and after the experience of the pandemic and confinement, it’s more needed than ever on Ibiza and Formentera, a need that can be covered this weekend with the first Santa Eulària Humor Festival, which will visit the Espanya theater and the centros culturales de Jesús and Puig d’en Valls with names like Santi Rodriguez and Jaimito Borromeo and local shows with José Boto at the helm.

And the festivities of Santa Eulària continue with more activities this weekend, among which we can highlight the Cova dels Dracs on Saturday or the giant games on the Paseo de s’Alamera and, above all, the return of the Fira Artesanal des Puig de Missa on Sunday, one of the most recommendable encounters with traditions on the island.

Music and record lovers are in luck this weekend and not only with the concerts. Sant Antoni hosts the third edition of the Fira del Disc d’Eivissa on Saturday and Sunday, with the exhibition and sale of records, music and the participation of major collectors from the Spanish market. A highly recommended event. Among the concerts it is also worth mentioning that of Celtic music by the Duo Didyma on Sunday in Can Jeroni

And for parents who want to better understand the problems of their children, new conferences are scheduled for both ‘The adventure of educating in family’ of Santa Eulària, and the ‘Xerrades per a famílies’ of Sant Antoni.

The heritage itineraries of Vila are also back. The first one will be held on Saturday morning and there is still time to register at the Madina Yabisa center in Dalt Vila.
