The best plans for the weekend in Ibiza and Formentera

The weekend arrives loaded with leisure and cultural plans to cover all expectations, with several very powerful events, such as the new edition of the Ibiza Light Festival friday and Saturday in Dalt Vila.

Another point of interest is the Festival of Humorwhich reaches its 15th edition with performances on Saturday by José Boto and on Sunday by Luis Piedrahita. Although the humor starts on Friday with the ocho apellidos ibicencos’ at the Pereyra and Magí Garcia at Can Jeroni as opening of the Festival Mal del Cap.

From the music highlights the beginning of the festival Eivissa Clàssica on Friday at Can Ventosa, the bluesman’s mini-tour in Ibiza Federico Verteramo on Saturday or the same day the concert of Jarabe de Palo at the Santa Gertrudis festivities.

On that same day Santa Gertrudis celebrates its first Eivifest the festival of local wines, while Sant Carles will experience a new edition of its obstacle race Sant Carles Xtrem.

There is also a circus with ‘R.E.M.’ at the Palacio de Congresos of Santa Eulària on Saturday; theater with ‘Women without voice’ at the Caló de s’Oli Auditori on Saturday; the Pedal Day in Vila on Sunday; the Second-hand car show all weekend at the fairgrounds; several family proposals…
