The best plans for the weekend in Ibiza and Formentera

Several towns in Ibiza and Formentera are involved during this week with the festivities of El Carmen which culminate on Sunday with the last processions, full of tradition and merinero atmosphere, in es Pujols, es Cubells and Sant Antoni.

Among the spectacles of this weekend highlights the visit of Mayumanáthe veteran percussion and dance group, which presents its new show on Friday in Vila.

In music there are several appointments, such as the concert by Yacaré in the Sol Post a s’Oli Fest cycle in Cala de Bou on Saturday, the four hands piano cycle of the nits al Baluard’ (Nights at the Baluard)also on Saturday, or the polyphonies of A pair of three the same day at the Tancó de Sant Agustí. On Sunday, in addition, the Majorcan Xanguito will present their new album for free in ses Figueretes.

Other outstanding events of the weekend are the show ‘POEMIlla’ on Thursday at the Club Diario de Ibiza, the guided visit by Santi Moix on Friday to his exhibition at the MACE, the Ethnographic Museum Nights on Saturday with a candlelight concert or the free classes of the Ibiza Danza Platform on Saturday.

And cinema, a lot of cinema, because the cycles of cine a la fresca are at full capacity:
