Dalt Vila lights up with the Ibiza Light Festival and the presence of actor and comedian Fernando Esteso at the Festival del Humor

This weekend’s leisure and culture agenda has absolutely everything. Music, gastronomic contests, dance, theatre, conferences, humour with the great Fernando Esteso, patron saint festivities? On Thursday the Entrepreneurs Forum kicks off at the Centre Cultural de Jesús and the plenary hall of the Consell de Formentera hosts at 5 pm the conference ‘L’heroïna del S. XXI’, by Marc Masip. And the XLIX Curs Eivissenc de Cultura offers the talk ‘De la mar i la terra al plat: la producció alimentària pitiüsa. Mostra de quilòmetre zero pitiús’, by Josep Lluís Joan. Friday sees the arrival of the Ibiza Light Festival, which includes large-scale light installations that will dress the architectural heritage and urban landscape of Dalt Vila in light and colour for two days. The bastion of Santa Llúcia is the main stage of the festival. Also on Friday, the Festival of Humour kicks off, which will be held at Can Ventosa and will culminate on Sunday with the presence of the great actor and comedian Fernando Esteso. And the Casino des Moll in the port of Ibiza is hosting a talk on inheritance and succession pacts. And on Saturday, don’t miss the La Movida party in Santa Gertrudis, starting at 6 pm with DJs Petit & Vázquez-X Aniversario and Tam Tam Go! in concert. To satisfy the hungry, a tortilla competition will be held at the Mercat Vell de Vila, as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations. Forada begins its festivities on Saturday.
