Music is the big star of this weekend’s cultural and leisure agenda in Ibiza and Formentera, with some big names among the artists. Starting this Thursday with the return of Chambao to Las Dalias, which is almost a homecoming for La Mari, on a stage where they are very much loved.
But there’s more, on Friday the appointment is with Corona and his ‘The rythm of the night’ at the Children of the 80’s at the Hard Rock Hotel.
And on Saturday comes one of those not-to-be-missed shows, with the concert by Santiago Auserón and his ‘Luces de Frontera’ at the headquarters of the UIB in Ibiza, as part of the cycle ‘Nits de Tànit.
That same evening and right next door, in the Reina Sofia park, will be held the final of the contest of young groups MusicAulawhich will feature a band from Ibixenca, The New Young Polaks, among the finalists, and a performance by Marmi as guest star.
On Saturday, the double concert of the Argentine blues band is also a must Alejandra Burgoswho will be at noon at the Can Jordi Blues Station and in the evening at the Teatro Ibiza in Vila.
For its part, es Cubells is already celebrating the festivities of Carmenon Saturday it will do it with music and theater and on Sunday with a children’s party of water and foam and with a ‘jam al sol post’ with musicians from the island.
Also, es Canar and the neighborhood of sa Capelleta de Vila celebrate Sant Cristòfolso this weekend agenda is extended until Monday.
There is also cinema and several exhibitions are opening in the coming days.
