Awarded in New York a BSO created by the musician Miquel Àngel Aguiló

This Monday the musician, director and composer Miquel Àngel Aguiló received the good news that New York Movie Awards, a monthly international film festival, had awarded him for the soundtrack he had composed for the film ‘A Walk in the Borne’. The news was communicated to him by Nick Egea, the director of the film, which has received in this same event a few more awards, such as Best Actor and Actress, which have gone to its protagonists, Rodolfo Sancho and Ruth Gabriel.

“Since it began its journey, ‘Un paseo por el Borne’ has won about thirty awards, especially abroad,” said the Mallorcan musician based in Ibiza, happy with the recognition obtained with his work.

masterclass’ at Ibicine

Precisely today at 5.30 pm Aguiló will offer the masterclass ‘The music in the cinema’ at the Teatro España, in Santa Eulària. The activity is part of the Industry Activities section of the eighth edition of Ibicine.

During this master class, he said, will focus mainly on talking about the relationship established between the composer and the director and producer, “a communication that is sometimes difficult,” he acknowledged. He will also reveal some secrets about the composition of soundtracks.
