The General Council of Notaries (CGN) has presented this week the new Statistical Portal of Notaries, a digital tool that allows users to consult the real sale prices of apartments and houses across Spain — based on notarial deeds rather than the asking prices listed on property websites. The platform, available at www.notariado.org, provides updated, visual and interactive data, freely accessible to any citizen.
This tool brings greater transparency to the highly stressed property market and offers reliable information to support decision-making when buying or selling a home. The portal is fed by anonymous data from the Single Computerised Notarial Index, the second-largest document database in Spain, containing more than 170 million deeds, according to the General Council of Notaries.
The platform allows users to filter by area and by property type (house or flat, new or second-hand), and to consult the average price per square metre, the average total amount, and the number of transactions carried out. The data is updated monthly.
