Andrés Iniesta is relaxing in Ibiza with his wife, Anna Ortiz, and his children, after five seasons playing in Japan. In this period of time, the midfielder has become a true idol for the Japanese (who call him ‘the emperor’). However, after five years of residence in the Asian country, he has decided to return to Spain.
After his farewell to the Vissel Kobe and without contemplating their 37 years a possible retirement from the world of sport, Iniesta meditates which will be his next destination.
For this, he has chosen Ibiza as a place of disconnection, where he enjoys a vacation in the company of his wife, Anna Ortiz, and their five children: Valeria, Paolo, Siena, Romeo and Olympia, the youngest, born last February 26.
On this occasion, Iniesta and Ortiz have parked for a few hours their role as parents to relax with their friends at Beso Beach, one of the most popular beach bars on the island.
Apparently, the former Barça player is not worried about his professional future after five years in Japan, where as he has recognized both he and his family have been “very happy” and where they have “felt very loved at all times”.
With a view to the next season, it resonates strongly his possible signing for Inter Milan, although for the moment, Albacete has not been pronounced on this new incorporation.
