From Murcia will come Southern Pantera, who, as their name suggests, are a tribute to the great American groove metal band, “possibly the best in Europe”, say the organizers.

Mallorca will bring two names, the powerful hardcore punk band Fast Food Society and Lyra’s Hell, “a real dream team formed by members of great bands of the underground scene” of the neighboring island, in a commitment to hard rock.

Four local bands

The local line-up is made up of Meteorum, formed by musicians from the island’s hardcore metal scene; Magnam, an Ibizan heavy metal band with a long history that returns to the stage this year to present their new album; Kalimoxo, dedicated to alternative rock in Spanish, and Sokaris, a metalcore band that returns after a five-year hiatus with new vocals.

The doors of Teatro Ibiza, which provides all its lighting and sound equipment, will open each day at 6.30 pm. The venue will have a bar with drinks and merchandising area of the participating bands.

Tickets are priced at 12 euros in advance at entradium.com and 15 at the door, each day. For under 25s there are advance tickets at 8 and 10 at the door, per day.

As a novelty this year, there will be a raffle of commemorative t-shirts of the event and tickets to national underground festivals. And “as icing on the cake” there will be two concerts later in the Jazz-Tà Bé room also in Vila.
