An Airbnb among shantytowns in Sant Jordi

Three tents in the Can Raspalls shantytown in Sant Jordi were marketed on Airbnb, offering basic amenities like a double mattress, fridge, and a dry toilet for €45 per night. Authorities discovered the illegal accommodation after noticing tourists with suitcases leaving the area. The Sant Josep council plans to evict the settlement and is issuing additional penalties for illegal camping.
