Autumn arrives to Ibiza making itself felt. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) warns of the possibility of heavy rains in the Pitiusas for this Monday and Tuesday. Meteorologists have activated the yellow warning for Monday and orange for Tuesday in Ibiza and Formentera, where it could fall up to 50 liters per square meter in one hour.
The yellow alert will begin at 3 am on Monday and will remain active until 23.59 hours. The forecast is that they can fall up to 30 liters per square meter in an hour. Tuesday night the warning will become orange, from 24 hours until 13 hours, with rainfall that can reach 50 liters in an hour or an accumulated 100 liters in a couple of hours. The Aemet reports that the showers will remain until Wednesday morning throughout the Balearic Islands, “a priori in Ibiza and Formentera.”
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) says that this week from September 29 to October 5 will be marked by temperatures lower than usual for this time of year. In the Pitiusas, minimum temperatures will drop slightly to 15 degrees. The maximum will remain at 26 degrees.
