On Friday at 8pm the fifth edition of Ibiza Light Festival will open in Dalt Vila, entitled ‘Inside Out Edition’, in which there will be two tours in Dalt Vila for the public to see the installations and for which it is essential to book in advance at www.eivissa.es. But, as a prelude, the festival of art, culture and technology presents for the first time a program of workshops by experts in lighting and multimedia creativity to be held in Can Ventosa from 10am with free admission until full capacity.
El Imaginario will give the workshop ‘Visuals and light management in clubs and festivals’ from 10am to 12 noon. Participants will learn the basics of visuals and will delve into the management of lighting resources, rhythmic work, colors and composition in space. From his experience as a video maker and VJ producer, he will share some tips when undertaking a job.
The second workshop is entitled ‘Retrospectiva de lo analógico a lo digital’, a review of the evolution of visual creation by Carlos Serrano, founder of the Hypnotica collective, active since the 80s, and one of the first VJ producers in Spain. An expert in creating harmony, visual atmosphere and rhythm, he will share experiences and anecdotes of a successful career accompanied by the analog machines of the moment. It will be held from 12 noon to 2pm.
