The Pacha Ibiza nightclub enjoyed a very special guest on Thursday. DJ Robin Schulz had for his Pure Pacha session one of the members of the British group in fashion in the 90s, the Spice Girls. Their presence was already announced on the promotional posters for this season’s party at the iconic cherry discotheque with two dates.
The guest artist was Melanie C, the ‘Sporty Spice Girl’, who at 49 years of age showed a great physical condition in a session in which she did not stop moving and dancing with the public, with whom she already shared another session last June 8 in the same place.
The Brit has already played at Café Mambo Ibiza this summer and in other venues, showing her multifaceted musical career.
It is far from the first time that Melanie C visits the island, their relationship goes back further. She even shot a music video in lbiza for the song ‘I turn to you’ (2000), where outdoor landscapes and the interior of a nightclub where a blonde ‘sporty spice girl’ appears. This catchy dance song topped the charts in the UK.
The British recording artist and songwriter has released eight solo albums. She holds the record for the most number 1 singles in her country as far as female artists are concerned due to her successes with the Spice Girls and her solo work, on a par with Madonna herself.
She recently published her memoirs, in which she talked about her relationship with her platonic love, Robbie Williams, ex-member of Take That, who has also DJ’d in Ibiza, or her bad relationship with Victoria Beckham, as well as the sexual abuse she suffered when she started with the music band that catapulted her to worldwide fame.
