The real estate portal Idealista is listing several rental properties at prices that are more than reasonable for the Ibiza market. Studios are available for €675, one-bedroom apartments for €775, and two-bedroom flats for between €800 and €900.
However, the advertisements specify that these properties are only available for the winter season, with contracts lasting up to ten months. “The apartments must be vacated during the months of July and August”, the advertisers state, adding that interested parties should read the conditions carefully before making contact.
“The profile of tenant we are looking for is someone who, due to work circumstances, needs temporary accommodation in Ibiza — such as teachers, employees of foreign companies, healthcare workers or civil servants. Please, not those who live permanently in Ibiza and require long-term accommodation”, the listing specifies.
Pets are also not allowed, “whatever their nature”, according to the adverts.
