The storm Laurence will leave very cloudy or overcast skies this Monday in Ibiza and Formentera, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). It will also push warmer air, so temperatures and snow cover will rise.
Precipitation as a result of this squall could reach the islands throughout the day. There is a 95 percent probability of rain until 18 hours, then drops to 45 percent. In principle there is no active alert.
Temperatures will remain stable and, in the case of Ibiza, the minimum will be 9 degrees and the maximum, 15, with north wind turning to east and northeast.
Early this morning, minimum temperatures of 8 degrees were recorded in Ibiza and Sant Antoni. One degree more had Sant Joan and the airport, while in Formentera reached 11 degrees.
As for the maximum temperatures, this Sunday Sant Antoni recorded 19 degrees, followed by Formentera, Ibiza and Sant Joan (18 degrees). The aerodrome of es Codolar reached 17 degrees.
Wednesday will be a day of transition between two squalls, Laurence will pass Martinho. On Thursday comes another one with more rain. According to Aemet data, there is a 70 percent chance of showers on Friday. Unsettled weather is expected over the weekend.
