Some passengers begin their journeys in airport lounges. These lounges are presented as a quiet escape from the chaotic airport environment, eliminating the need to navigate expensive stores and crowded areas. Ibiza airport’s VIP lounge has the third most expensive price tag in Spain. The most expensive in the country is Lanzarote.
In recent months, Google searches for “airport VIP lounge prices” have experienced a 150% increase in Spain, showing that more travelers are willing to pay for these premium services.
In this context, the eSIM travel company, Airalo, has analyzed the 15 busiest airports in the country to find out which ones offer the most affordable VIP lounges. The study reveals that, surprisingly, Ibiza airport is positioned with the third most expensive VIP lounge in Spain, which may make some tourists reconsider whether the extra luxury justifies the cost.
The most expensive VIP lounge in the country costs 44.60 euros and is the one in Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands. The VIP lounge in Menorca is priced at 34 euros and is the second most expensive. In third place is Ibiza, with a price of 31 euros. The same cost is for the VIP lounges in Valencia, Seville, Bilbao, Alicante, Palma, Malaga, Madrid and Tenerife.
