The National Police have detained two people as suspects in the perpetrators of a theft burglary in an inhabited house and also of another crime of theft. They are a 51-year-old Moroccan man and a 41-year-old Spanish woman.
The investigations began last year december 17, when a robbery with violence was reported in a house of Can Misses. The complaint detailed that a group of five hooded persons, one of them carrying a knife, had surprised the victim in the garden of his house after entering through a door whose lock did not work.
Once inside the house, and after threatening the victim, the suspects went to the area in which they believed the safe was locatedbut had to flee on the run when they were alerted by collaborators who were outside to the presence of possible witnesses, as well as to the arrival of police patrols.
With the above information, agents of the Specialized and Violent Crime Group (UDEV) began the investigations that led to the arrest of the policehe arrest of one of the hooded menas well as one of the persons who was in the vicinity carrying out surveillance work.
In addition, and as a consequence of the above, the Police have managed to clarify a theft crime reported by the same victim which took place in 2023. This second crime involved her ex-partner and also her former assistant, the same two people who had already been arrested for the aforementioned robbery with violence, as reported by the Police in a press release.
