Craft market, free workshops and children’s activities this Saturday in Sant Josep for European Crafts Day

Saturday kicked off the Ecological, Local and Handicraft Market of Ibiza to be held every Saturday from April to October in Sant Josep.

Organized by the consistory josepí in collaboration with the Consell d’Eivissa, this market of Ibizan handicrafts aims to offer visitors the opportunity to know the traditional craftsas well as the different handicraft products of the island of Ibiza. As explained by the councilor Maria Fajarnésduring this week you can enjoy activities that bring citizens closer to the sphere of craft creation, in all those areas that have decided to join and participate in this celebration. The councilor has detailed that this type of actions “contribute to promote the long history of traditional crafts that exist in our island and that currently have a wide repertoire of artisans, while also allowing us to contribute to the promotion of tourism in Ibiza”.

For its part, Lourdes Marí highlighted that “during all weekends, Saturdays, from April 5 to October 4, there will be children’s workshops to encourage family plans”. Marí has detailed that “this is the ninth edition and has the participation of 49 artisans farmers, beekeepers or painters, among others, distributed in 200 m² of fair”.

The market will be open every Saturday at 9:30 a.m in the morning and will remain open until 1:30 p.m.
