Ibiza Town Hall has announced the temporary closure of the Es Pou Sant 1 car park, located on the site previously occupied by the Fira d’Atraccions de Nadal, starting this Thursday due to maintenance and improvement works.
The closure follows significant deterioration of the car park after recent flooding, which caused large puddles and affected much of its surface. In several areas, deep ruts and uneven patches have formed, hindering both vehicle movement and parking.
The council has not specified the exact duration of the works but has stated that these actions are necessary to restore this public space, which is widely used by residents and visitors due to its proximity to the city centre.
