The best plans for the weekend in Ibiza and Formentera

The Matanzas Rice World Cup is the most popular and multitudinous gastronomic event of those held in Ibiza, so it is likely that the streets of Sant Antoni will be filled again this Saturday with people eager to taste the rice and enjoy the festive day, which will have the prologue on Friday with the school contest. And as the Sant Antoni festivities are not only about rice, the activities continue on Sunday with the cleaning of the bay, the Sant Antoni Rural, the Verro Olímpic… Almost nothing.

Other interesting quotes of the week are with the humor of Txabi Franquesa thursday at Teatro Ibiza, the hypnosis of Aryel Altamar on the same day at the Pereyra or the first conference of the Jornades de Cultura Popularon peasant remedies, on Friday at sa Nostra Sala.

On Saturday you can also go to the theater, with ‘Orgasms’ at the Pereyra, to the concerts of Uncle Sal at Can Jordi or María José Perete in Sant Carles, at popular cleaning of ses Feixes or take the children to a very special show of ‘Swan Lake’ at the Cas Serres auditorium.

And to close the weekend there is a popular paella at the festivities of Santa Agnèsor you can go to see the magician Yunke at Can Ventosa. And the youngest ones have the opportunity to discover the ins and outs of ressonadors with Joan Barbé at Can Ventosa.
