Almost all consultations scheduled for Tuesday morning at the Can Misses health centre in Ibiza were cancelled after heavy rain caused leaks and flooding inside the recently refurbished building. Patients reported water pouring from ceilings and pooling on floors, forcing appointments to be either rescheduled or moved to telephone format. The Balearic Ministry of Health confirmed that leaks and broken pipes disrupted services at the centre and caused water ingress in the Laboratory and Radiotherapy areas of the adjacent hospital, though these did not affect patient care. Meanwhile, the Cala de Bou health unit also flooded, with staff diverting early morning analytical tests to the second floor. Authorities have yet to specify how many appointments were suspended or whether other health facilities were affected.
