The public of Ibiza packed the baluard of Santa Llúcia to enjoy the exciting music of trumpeter Carlos Sarduy and the band Escalandrum. The Cuban multi-instrumentalist based in Formentera, accompanied by The Groove Messengers, opened the last day of Eivissa Jazz and dazzled with his fusion of Latin jazz and Afrobeat. The Argentine jazz-fusion group Escalandrum was not daunted by the high level show offered so far and took over to put the best of their talent along with the rhythm of Astor Piazzolla, which helped to bring out the maximum feeling to the performance of these six veteran artists.
