No two without three. And that is well known to fans of fireworks shows in Eivissa. This Sunday Sant Antoni lives the big day of the festivities of Sant Bartomeu, which will arrive, as usual, with its traditional procession at sunset and its fireworks show that will dye the bay with bursts of color. A very intense day. After the 8 d’Agost and 15 August in Ses Figueretes, Sant Bartomeu completes the trio of fireworks displays. But sparks are not the only thing that men and women live on. So the weekend comes loaded with activities. And for all tastes and ages, although it is true that the little ones are the main protagonists of this August, because almost all parties have thought of them.
The little ones of the house have plenty to choose from. This morning (11 am) there is a astronomy workshop in the library of Sant Antoni and Friday (18 hours) another crafts related to tradition in the Molí d’en Simó. In addition, on Saturday (7 pm) you can dance and sing in the children’s version of ‘La Movida’, ‘La Movidita’, in the Passeig de ses Fonts and Sunday (10.30 am) swimsuit and towel at the ready and heading to the ‘Fiestuki Splash’ of foam in the Plaza of Spain. All this in the festivities of Sant Bartomeu, but there is more. In Sant Agustí, the little ones can face an exciting adventure, the ‘Missió Cuc de Garrova’, a gymkhana that will begin at 10.30 am on Saturday in the square of Sant Agustí, which is already fully in its patron saint festivities. And on Sunday at noon there is a ‘Fiesta Refrescante Infantil’ in the Platja d’en Bossa camp, which also begins its festivities. 19659003]Those who are already a little older have many options to have fun. As always, music, which is always present on this island. On Thursday at sa Punta des Molí (7 pm) there will be a tribute to José Padilla , the father of chill-out; there are micro-concerts in Cala Llonga (9 pm) and Antonio Baciero will play the most unknown Beethovenat the XXVI Ibiza International Music Festival (9 pm), which will offer concerts at the same time on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A great plan for music lovers. In Sant Antoni on Friday there are rock classes and a concert by The Metrallas at the IX Sunset Swing Festival (8 p.m.) on Paseo de s’Arenal, and in the parking lot of the Mercat Pagès in Sant Antoni there will be the opening of the rociera tent (9 p.m.), while in Platja d’en Bossa there will be D-Ramones, La Re-Movida and The Rosemary Family (from 8 pm) after the official opening of the festivities with politicians and ball pagès. The festivities of the neighborhood of the southern border of Vila will feature a Flower Power animated by Dj Pharma (Saturday, 11 pm) and not a few gastronomic activities: sardinada and choripán (Saturday, 12 pm) and popular paella (Sunday, of course, at 2 pm).
Dance is the star of the new show of the cycle ‘Nits de Tanit’ (Friday, 10 pm) with the show ‘Guerrero’ , by Eduardo Guerrero. Although if what you prefer is to dance instead of watching someone else do it (saving the distances, of course) on Saturday at the same time the Passeig de ses Fonts de Sant Antoni hosts a party of the twentieth anniversary of La Movida, with dj Petit & Vázquez, which also has a solidarity part, for the benefit of the association Elena Torres for Cancer Research. What better reason to put on a Madonna-style tutu and dance to the hits of the 80s and 90s?

Those who are more into contemplating art than moving their skeletons have four new exhibitions to visit this weekend: Vera Lutter’s camera obscura photographs (Parra and Romero), Elizabeth Louy’s paintings (Santa Eulària hall) and Wendy Williams’ (Can Jeroni) and the collective of Sant Agustí artists (Can Curt).
If they don’t leave the house it will be because they really don’t want to, because there are plans at all times, for all tastes and for all ages.
