Mary Wu, the Chinese piano diva, returns to Ibiza to celebrate more than two decades of close and fruitful relationship with the Music Festival and as president of the jury of the XXVI Ibiza International Piano Competition. Mary Wu, along with her sisters Melody and Enloc, all three holders of the ‘Chappel Gold Medal of the Royal College of Music in London, offer an unpublished piano concert for two, four and six hands. The event, scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025, at 9 p.m. at the Sant Carles Parish Center, promises to be a unique experience. The ticket for the recital, with a duration of 90 minutes, is a donation of 5 euros and will be free for minors.
Family of musicians
Enloc Wu: born in Shanghai and trained in Hong Kong. At the age of sixteen, she won the Associated Board scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music in London. During her undergraduate studies, she won the Brahms Prize, the Best Concerto Award, First Prize in the Royal Overseas League Competition and the National Federation of Musical Societies Competition. Thereafter, he began his career as a concert pianist and also devoted himself to teaching his discipline. For Enloc Wu, making music or sharing it with her sisters “is one of life’s greatest pleasures.”
Melody Wu: is a pianist and piano teacher. She was born into a musical family in Hong Kong and began her training at the age of four. She received a scholarship for talented young musicians, an allowance that enabled her to continue her musical training at the Royal College of Music in London, where she graduated in piano and piano pedagogy. Thanks to another scholarship, he continued his training at the University of Vienna, where he obtained his master’s degree with honors. In her musical career, she has taught at the Vorarlberg Conservatory of Music, given concerts both solo and with her sisters, and has also been a juror and adjudicator in numerous European and Far Eastern countries
