The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated for this Tuesday and Wednesday the yellow warning for high temperatures. Meteorologists warn that the thermometers could reach 36 degrees, mainly in the west of the island of Ibiza: Sant Antoni and Sant Josep.
The alert will remain active these two days, between 12 noon and 6 p.m. The forecast is that minimum temperatures will not drop below 24 degrees these days and maximum temperatures will be around 33 degrees, although somewhat higher peaks are expected.

In Formentera, temperatures range between 25 minimum and 27 maximum. However, the Aemet has also activated the yellow warning for Tuesday and Wednesday in the pitiusa menor, for temperatures close to 40 degrees.
