Man robs two Ibiza stores in a single morning

Agents of the National Police in Ibiza have arrested an individual, of Spanish nationality and 35 years old the police have been accused of two crimes of robbery with force committed in two establishments in the city center.

As reported Monday by the Police in a statement, on Saturday, around 6:30 am, a patrol of public safety proceeded to the arrest on the public road of a man who, being caught during the commission of a second robbery, tried to flee, encountering the police.

Two robberies in one morning

Officers were alerted by the 091 room for a patrol car to go to the vara de Rey area, where a first burglary was taking place. Upon arrival, they observed the entrance door to the restaurant open and with signs of having been forced.

During the first inspection they were able to verify that no one was inside and that the cash register was missing.

The agents spoke with the manager and informed him of the steps to follow to file a complaint. At the same time, a new alarm was reported in a nearby premises and, on arriving at the scene, the police found an individual who was leaving the premises through the door, for which he was arrested and has been placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction on duty in Ibiza.
