This week begins the activities that kick off the Carnival in Ibiza . The Dijous Llarder gives the starting signal to the events scheduled this year. The weather forecast for these days is quite unstable due to the arrival of an cold front to the islands.
On Thursday, the day will be cloudy, with no forecast of showers, according to the State Meteorological Agency ( Aemet ). Minimum and maximum temperatures will remain between 7 and 17 degrees.
On Friday the weather will be more unstable and there is a 65 percent chance of rain starting at noon. The mercury remains at the same values as the previous day.
Weekend
The weekend will be rainy throughout the day on the saturday and Sunday, with a 90 and 95 percent chance, respectively.
However, there are no storm warnings or heavy rainfall alerts activated. Last year the rains caused the Ibiza Carnival parade to be moved from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning.
