What at first seemed like a typical end-of-season closing has become permanent.
Eleven years have passed since the Hard Rock Café located in Vara de Rey, opened its doors to offer its customers its well-known typical food from the United States.
Since then, many residents and tourists have crossed its threshold, but the chain has decided to close the Ibiza location for good.
“Closed permanently” is the information offered by Google about the Hard Rock Café on the island. The last review that can be read on Tripadvisor, is from last October 20, so the silent closure is quite recent.
In addition, in October the venue joined the worldwide cancer awareness campaign with a colorful initiative: some burgers and sandwiches were prepared with bread from pink and for each diner who chose them, one euro would be donated to the Elena Torres Association for cancer research.
The well-known Hard Rock sign has disappeared from the facade of Paseo de Vara de Rey 1 and in its place have been left some sad electrical wires hanging.
In addition, the premises also does not appear on the map on which the popular chain, which has establishments all over the world, details where all its restaurants are located.
