New yellow alert in Ibiza and Formentera for bad weather: Until when is it active?

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow alert in Ibiza and Formentera this Wednesday for strong winds and coastal risks. In some autonomous communities, the orange level (important risk) has been activated due to the strong wind that is expected to be registered, with gusts that can reach 90 kilometers per hour.

The alert has been activated with the arrival of the Caetano squall, the third of the season. In spite of the fact that it will not fully enter Spain but its proximity and deepening will be enough to leave a high impact on the country.

The warning will remain in the Pitiusas throughout Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will range between 13 and 21 degrees and rain is not expected.

In addition to Catalonia, which are on orange alert, are on yellow alert (risk) by the strong wind Aragon, Valencia and large areas of Catalonia, with the forecast that the gusts reach speeds of 70 to 90 kilometers per hour in many points.
