The German market also rebounded with a 9.8% rise to 696,220 passengers, making it the fourth largest after domestic traffic (3.3 million), British (1.8 million), and Italian (912,845). Domestic routes dominate, with Barcelona-El Prat leading arrivals and departures. Emerging markets like Switzerland (254,185 passengers, up 2.1%) and Belgium (177,450 passengers, up 9.5%) highlight diversification. Ryanair leads airport operations, accounting for 13,086 of 77,314 flights. Private aviation saw a slight decline, with 2,044 operations, down from 2,109 last year.
