Committed to local communities

With the closing of their first full season, the hotels in Cala Llonga Mondrian and Hyde Ibiza have stood out for their support of the local community and their impact on the island’s gastronomic scene. These hotels have shown a strong commitment to the island, not only by elevating the culinary offerings, but also by collaborating on important causes.

Two gastronomic spaces have opened this year that have revolutionized the area. In May, the Japanese restaurant Niko opened its doors with a sophisticated approach, followed in June by Sonrojo a chiringuito-style restaurant specializing in Mediterranean cuisine. Both have been instrumental in attracting locals and tourists, and have helped to consolidate Cala Llonga as a new culinary reference in Ibiza.

Solidarity events

Both hotels have supported several solidarity initiatives. During the season, they collaborated with the III Annual IFFC Golf Tournament, raising more than eleven thousand euros for the fight against cancer. In addition, Sonrojo closed the season with the charity event ‘Stars against Cancer’, in which twelve elite chefs cooked to raise funds for Aspanob, an organization that supports children with cancer in the Balearic Islands.

Mondrian and Hyde Ibiza will officially close on October 20. During the winter months, renovations will be carried out to create new spaces and meeting rooms to help raise the standard of both hotels. The next season will begin on April 23, with the celebration of the International Music Summit at their facilities, reaffirming their commitment to the island and its community.
