Wayne Lineker knocked unconscious by man in Ibiza fight video

Assailant fled the scene after the British businessman fell to the ground

British businessman of the night Wayne Lineker was unconscious on Wednesday night, around 4:00 a.m., after being punched when he was trying to catch a cab near a discotheque in Sant Antoni.

Apparently, the brother of soccer player Gary Likener had had a previous dispute with some men defending a friend who was being harassed.

In the video you can see the moment of the aggression. Lineker was trying to get into a cab, after which he was met in the street by a group of men. One of them punched him in the chin. The businessman fell to the ground and was unconscious for at least six minutes, according to witnesses.

The Sun publishes the testimony of a witness who witnessed the punch: “It was horrible, he looked like he could have been dead at some point.”

In the video it is not seen that no one, except her friend, comes to his aid, while a man approaches only to joke pretending to be a referee after a K.O. in a boxing ring.

The assailant fled the scene after his victim fell to the ground. The police arrived at the scene, according to the British newspaper. Wayne eventually left in a cab about an hour after being punched.

Party-loving Wayne Lineker is known for hosting celebrities, and especially footballers, at his beach club in Sant Antoni.He has an empire of nightclubs in Spain that he started in 1988, including Ocean Beach Ibiza.
