The driver who hit a cab that was circulating correctly after invading the oncoming lane on Wednesday on the Ibiza airport road was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the Guardia Civil communication service has reported.
Also carried out were breathalyzer tests and narcotics the other two drivers involved in the accident. Both the person at the wheel of the cab and the one who was driving behind the vehicle and caught up with it, have tested negative in the corresponding tests.
The collision occurred early in the afternoon on Wednesday, when a passenger car jumped the continuous line of the road and abruptly invaded the oncoming lane. The driver of a cab met him and hit him head-on.
SAMU 061 reported transporting the cab passenger, a 29-year-old manwith various injuries, a head injury and a major hemorrhage to the Policlínica Virgen del Rosario, where he remained in serious condition on Wednesday.
