Cristiano Ronaldo teams up with Ibiza businessman Abel Matutes to promote new restaurant venture

There was already one in Madrid and now it is coming to the Middle East.

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo recently took to his social media accounts to endorse his favorite restaurant, which is now expanding into the Middle East. The restaurant in question is Totó, an Italian eatery located in Madrid and owned by Mabel Capital, a company co-owned by Ibizan businessman Abel Matutes, Manuel Campos Guallar, and tennis star Rafael Nadal.

On Instagram, Cristiano posted a photo of himself at the entrance of the Madrid establishment, accompanied by the caption: “I present to you my favorite Italian restaurant in Madrid! Totó Restaurant…and soon also in the Middle East!” The restaurant responded with appreciation, writing on their own social media account, “Thank you, partner! Always a pleasure.”

Mabel Capital also owns Tatel, a chain of restaurants with locations in Ibiza, Mexico, Beverly Hills, Doha, Riyadh, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi. According to Mexican media outlet El Financiero, some of Tatel’s investors include Pau Gasol, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Enrique Iglesias.

At Totó, diners can enjoy a variety of Italian and Mediterranean dishes, with traditional pasta and wine taking center stage on the menu. The restaurant’s decor features photographs of Italy from the 1950s, adding to the establishment’s cozy and welcoming ambiance. If you find yourself in Madrid or the Middle East, be sure to check out Totó for a taste of delicious Italian cuisine.
