On Saturday, Ibiza’s port hosted the XX Campagnolo Cycle Tour, drawing hundreds, including cycling stars Alejandro Valverde, Alberto Contador, and Óscar Pereiro. The event, both a sporting and leisure opportunity, caters to all levels of cyclists and emphasizes inclusivity, with para-cyclist Ricardo Ten winning his category. This year’s tour broke female and para-cyclist participation records. The 20th-anniversary also included tributes, notably for cyclist Alejandro Valverde and the late Bernat Ribas. Marc Torres, Sergio Calvo, and David Leggett topped the first stage, with Nuria Tauler leading the women.
