Traffic restrictions this weekend in Ibiza for the Ibiza T100 Pro Race triathlon

The weekend of september 28-29, 2024 the Ibiza T100 Pro Race will be held in the city of Ibiza, a triathlon of middle distance. The event entails important traffic modifications that will affect several main roads on the island. Key times and routes affected are listed below.

Saturday, September 28

Key schedules

Test startthe race will start at 8 am from the beach of ses Figueretes. Closing of circuits: the roads near the area of Santa Eulร ria will be closed from 7.45 am to 1.30 pm. Closure of finish line and running race: the race will finish at 2.30 p.m. in the Martillo area of the port of Eivissa.

Roads affected by the cycling event

During the cycling segment of the race, the following roads will be closed to traffic from 7:45 am to 1:30 pm:

EI-200 road: closed in the direction of Santa Eulร ria. EI-300 road: closed in the direction of Eivissa and Santa Eulร ria.

However, some stretches such as the road to Sant Miquel (EI-400) and the road to Jesรบs will be open with restrictions for vehicles in the direction of Ibiza.

Sunday, September 29th

Key schedules

Test start: as on Saturday, Sunday’s race will start at 8 a.m. on the beach of ses Figueretes. Road closures: roads near Santa Eulร ria will be closed from 7.45 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., affecting traffic to Santa Eulร ria and surrounding areas. Closure of finish line and foot race: the finish line will close at 15:00 hours at the Martillo of the port of Eivissa.

The main routes affected on Sunday include:

EI-200 Highway: closed in the direction of Santa Eulร ria from 7.45 am to 12.30 am. Road EI-300: closed in several stretches, especially in the area of Jesรบs and Sant Rafel.

In addition, access to several traffic circles, such as the Jesus elliptical traffic circle and the Santa Eulร ria traffic circle, will be restricted with possible delays.

Recommendations for residents and visitors

Residents and visitors are advised to plan their journeys in advance and avoid the affected areas during the above-mentioned times. Authorities recommend using alternative routes such as the Sant Rafel road or the Sant Joan road (EI-300) to go to and from Santa Eulร ria.
