Tourist on Ibiza stabbed in the face after confronting thieves who had robbed him

The tourist located the stolen Ipod through the device search application and went to the thieves' house with the intention of recovering his belongings.

A 26 year old German tourist received thirty stitches in his face after being stabbed. The aggression occurred, according to Diario de Ibiza, when the man decided to confront the alleged thieves who hours before had entered and stolen items from the house where he was staying with some friends in the municipality of Sant Josep.

The events occurred yesterday afternoon. The group of friends noticed that some of their belongings had disappeared from the villa where they were staying. Before notifying the police and filing the corresponding complaint, they decided to try to recover the stolen items on their own.

Among the stolen items was an ipod, so they came up with the idea of using the application that Apple has available to geolocate any device. Through an iCloud account the owner can see in real time where all the devices linked to that account are located. So they did. They located the ipod in a house in calle La Rioja, in Cala de Bou, and decided to go looking for it.

Upon arriving at the place one of them decided to break into the house and confront the alleged thieves. Inside there were two people, two North African brothers. There was a struggle and during the fight, one of the brothers, 37 years old, took a knife and attacked the German tourist, causing a significant cut on his face.
