The Guardia Civil of the Balearic Islands is currently aware of six cases in which six women have reported having been pricked while inside a nightclub, four on Ibiza and two on Mallorca. Of the total, only half have filed a complaint “Three of them have filed a complaint to the Guardia Civil on Ibiza and the other three have not wanted to do so, so an ex officio investigation has been opened to clarify the facts,” said officials from the OPC.
As for the possible motivation or intentionality of the perpetrators of the punctures, it is currently unknown, they specified, since “none of the victims reported having suffered a criminal act subsequent to the puncture, neither robbery nor of a sexual nature”. The Guardia Civil has opened an investigation to clarify the facts.

“Saturday night, after work, I went with a friend to dance with her. I don’t think it’s necessary to specify that we didn’t drink anything, but we didn’t drink. At about two o’clock in the morning, dancing quietly, I noticed the famous puncture prick that is going around. After the prick, I told my friend and she dragged me out of the nightclub”. This is the message posted by Irene in one of her social networks after suffering a puncture in a nightclub in Ibiza.
Together with her friend, she went directly to warn the security staff who, as she said, “were very kind in their treatment with it being the first case that happened has occurred that nightclub”. “It didn’t even take a minute before I couldn’t feel my body”, the young woman lamented. “I was nine hours unconscious and convulsing. I couldn’t move anything in my body. I only babbled and moved my eyes; the rest, nothing. I was like a vegetable,” she added. Finally, she sent a message: “Girls, this is not a joke. This is very serious. If you feel a pinch (which I’m telling you, you can feel it perfectly), go running to security because in less than five minutes you’ll collapse. Luckily I’m fine and nothing has happened to me beyond the intentions of that puncture. Always take care!” she concluded.
This young woman went to Can Misses Hospital in the early hours of the morning and has reported the incident to the Policía Nacional, who have referred the complaint to the Guardia Civil of Sant Antoni, as the complaint was filed “late”.
