The Australian music icon made a surprise appearance at the Circoloco party, which is held every Monday at Ibiza’s DC-10 nightclub, participating in the set of the dj The Blessed Madonna to premiere their new collaboration: a song called Edge of Saturday Night.
Minogue, 56, had no problem whatsoever in dancing on top of the booth as any fan of the Ibizan clubs would like to do. The video of this debauchery began to circulate quickly through the networks, to the point that the singer herself has shared a short clip on her social networks. The original publication comes from the dj, collaborator in Minogue’s new song.
“This song talks about boundaries. I started writing this song when we were on the brink of confinement, writing lyrics on the brink of being a new person, on the brink of moving up as a producer,” wrote The Blessed Madonna. “The song embarked on a journey, but finally found its edge when Kylie came into my life and infused Edge and I with energy. So here we are together, Marge and Kiki,” she added.
Minogue and Marea Stamper (that’s the real name of The Blessed Madonna) bill Edge Of Saturday Night as a production of pure dance with echoes of high-NRG, future disco and progressive house.
The single Edge Of Saturday Night is officially available only on the Digtracks website for the moment, but Kylie’s fans have been quick to upload it to the relevant networks.
‘Tension’, Kylie Minogue’s latest studio album, was released almost a year ago, containing the single-phenomenon ‘Padam Padam’, winner of the Grammy for Best Dance Pop Recording, the first in its category, and also the fantastic title single.
