After several postponements due to rain and wind, the vendors of the es Canar Hippy Market will celebrate their opening party today, although the market has been open throughout April.
The party will be a celebration for peace, in addition to the traditional Hippy Market, live music, performances and gastronomic offerings for all tastes.
Hippy Market and live music
The Hippy Market will open at 10am and at 11am the African rhythms of Wontanara will begin, marking the beginning of the party. The music will not stop throughout the day, with live performances by Nell Shakespeare, Albert G. and Franchesca, My Generation, Swingin Tonic Band, Shakatribe, and the most “hippie” sessions by Always High DJ and DJ Domi Pastor. From 4pm it will be time for the clown Cachirulo and his friends.
Throughout the day SOS Refugiados Ibiza will have a stand where they will provide information on how to help displaced people.
The largest and oldest Hippie Market on the island celebrates its 49th year this season.
