After Easter, the events multiply this weekend in Eivissa and Formentera. Sa Cala and Sant Francesc celebrate their patron saint’s festivitiesalso the Valencian people of Sant Antoni celebrate their Fallas and there is one more festival, that of the restaurateurs of the sant Vicent street of Santa Eulària on Saturday.
Precisely on Saturday Vila is opening to welcome the spring, with the fair eivissa in bloom and the new party La Verbenita Cluban innovative concept with Latin music, flamenco and lots of fun for the evening.
There is also a lot of music, with new concerts of the series Dies Musicals on Thursday and Saturday, the presentation of the new project by Andrés Coll on Friday at Teatro Ibiza, a recital of a trio from the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears (Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands) on Saturday in Cas Serres and another by female composers in Formentera.
But especially with the new edition of the Rock Island Festival of American roots music all Saturday in es Caló de s’Oli, with the Ibizan Soul Doctor and three Basque groups no less: Arnau & The Honky Tonk Losers, Gonzalo Portugal and The Renegades.
There are also two solidarity events, one on Saturday, the match between politicians for the benefit of Fundación Conciencia at the Can Cantó stadium, and another one on Sunday: the palestine solidarity festivalat the restaurant Cala Leña.
There is still room for the mood with David Fernandez on Friday in Formentera, books, cinema, stories…
