One of Abel Matutes and Rafa Nadal’s restaurants suddenly closes down

The Italian restaurant Totó property of the Mallorcan tennis player Rafa Nadal and businessmen Abel Matutes and Manuel Campos in Madrid, has closed its doors on a “permanent basis”without an official explanation for the moment. This is how it appears in Internet search engines, as reported this morning by the newspaper ‘El Español’.

The restaurant, which began its acticity on March 7, 2022, closes just three years after its inauguration. Located next to Tatelthe other restaurant owned by the Spaniard, offered a new concept that sought to fuse the charm of Italian food with the rest of the Mediterranean cuisine in Madrid, and had the Italian chef at the helm of the stove Emiliano Celli.

He did it in association with the businessmen Abel Matutes and Manuel Campos, founders together with the manacorí of the society Mabel Hospitality, being located in the exclusive street of the Paseo de la Castellana and having as partners sports stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Pau Gasol or the Mallorcan Rudy Fernández.

The Totó restaurant, on the other hand, is now only registered in two premises located in Dubai and Abu Dhabiaccording to the corporate group’s website.
